Description of the leather breastplate for mono flap saddle
The breastplate provides saddle balance and stability. It evenly distributes pressure while leaving room for the horse's shoulders. Both the bridge and the shoulder sections areeasily adjustable for all types of horses. Both parts are lined and padded for maximum comfort.The chest piece has two D-rings to attach a martingale attachment.
Snap hooks on an adjustable elastic strap make it easy to attach to D-rings on the mono-flap saddle.The breastplate has an additional stainless steel snap hook to attach to the girth.
Advantage of the breastplate
The breastplate stops the saddle from sliding backwards when riding. It is mostly used for show jumping but is also suited to riding disciplines on the flat. Adding a martingale attachment to the breastplate gives you all the advantages of a martingale.

This leather breastplate is available in brown or black leather with cream or black top stitching respectively, with a white and navy Antares elastic.
